I've been feeling anxious about going out since COVID has been in the news again more recently, does anyone else feel like this and how do you cope? Any tips appreciated :)

Yes I do, quite often! It is difficult at the moment, obviously I try and follow the guidelines but still worry about all the uncertainty. I've found keeping busy helps and trying to go out still (safely of course)! I've also tried meditation when I'm not as busy and mindfulness, just so I'm not worrying as much, sleep wasn't great so that seems to help a bit. Hope that helps a little.

Same here! Keeping busy by learning something new at home, or sorting things around the house seems to be my go-to at the moment. I do meditate and do some stretches in the evening before bed, which tends to help with sleeping. Going for a walk at a quiet time of day also helps, even if it is just for 5 minutes.

Thank you both, that's really helpful :) I will try a few things, have been thinking about starting yoga, so maybe I could do that and I think will try and keep going out for walks.

I'm finding it hard with this second lockdown but focussing on the fact that it is hopefully only for 4 weeks. I've got something I want to do planned in for each weekend and will try and keep in touch with people as much as possible.
